Peace Animations

These short peace messages were created by 3rd and 4th graders. They used Photoshop to create the phrase and then animated it.

Fall Through the Eyes of Kindergarten

Now that Kindergarten is at school for a full day, Mrs. Davison's class and Ms. Dyer's class have started to explore the Paint program. The following fall pictures were drawn by Mrs. Davison's class.

Mrs. Powers' Class: 1st & 2nd Grade

To work on fluency, Mrs. Powers' class read a poem and then imported a picture they drew in Paint. It was all put together using Photo Story.

Because I Am The Future: Calliope/ Bloger

This project was created to show the 3rd and 4th grade students' ideas about the future, on topics they would like to change or create, to make the world a better place. Using Microsoft Word they wrote their 'I Am The Future' idea in Word Art, then copied it into Paint to create an image. Next they researched on the internet to find a fact to support their idea. Next they drew a picture of their idea in Photo Shop. These pieces were then put together using Photo Story.

My Movie

These mini-movies were created by the 3rd and 4th grade students in Vista. They first took five digital pictures of themselves doing different poses of an activity, like fishing, baseball, dancing (etc.). They then used Photoshop to cut themselves out of the picture, then placed themselves in a background they drew in Photoshop. Next they imported these pictures into Photo Story and created a movie. Movie Maker was then used to create a class movie. This project was designed to intergrate art and technology.

1st & 2nd Grade Photoshop Trees

These trees were created by 1st and 2nd graders. They first drew their tree on paper, had their pictured scanned into the computer, then colored them in Photoshop. This project was created to integrated art and technology.

Because I Am The Future: Esprit

This project was created by 3rd and 4th grade students. The students used Photoshop, Word, Paint, and Photo Story to create a mini-movie about something they would change or create to make a better future.

This project was created to integrate art and technology. The 3rd and 4th grade students drew themselves in a continuous line drawing. The portrait was then scanned it into the computer, so they could use Photoshop to color their pictures.
